What is Myofascial Release?
  • A hands on therapy that offers sustainable pain relief.
  • Is an effective hands on technique that reduces or eliminates myofascial restrictions the root cause of most chronic pain
  • It eliminates or reduces  pain and restoring flexibility and motion.
  • Results from Myofascial Release treatments are immediate and cumulative.
How does it work to bring pain relief?
  • It relieves restriction of the fascial system, which is the body’s connective tissue.
  • Fascia becomes restricted from any number of causes, such as injury, surgery, chronic holding, trauma, stress, repetitious activities, poor posture and improper workspace ergonomics.
What is fascia?
  • Fascia is the primary architectural element of the body, holding everything in place. It is interwoven throughout the body, connecting all the parts of the body on a cellular level, supporting organs and connecting them to the musculoskeletal system.
  • Restrictions in fascial tissue affect other parts of the body through tension within the interconnected system.
  • As fascia begins to release, blood and lymph flow more freely to the tissues in turn reducing inflammation, paving the way for healing.
