Private Class for Non-Massage Therapists and Self-Treatment Workshops are also Available 
David Goldeen LMT, BCTMB is an NCBTMB Approved Provider for continuing educational credits for Licensed Massage Therapists. Additional professionals, regardless of their tradition or discipline may also benefit from education in the principles of Myofascial Release Therapy. 

MFR is amazingly effective, producing sustainable pain relief. Having a working knowledge of these basic principals, along with a deeper understanding of the fascia will complement and expand any practice.

Goldeen MFR Teaching Series is an approved NCBTMB provider of Continuing Educational Credit.

* Myofascial Release for Professionals is designed for health care professionals interested in integrating Myofascial Release  into their practice.   
   These classes are open to MT's, PT's, DO's, OT's, MD's, L.Ac's, RN's, LVN's, PA's and other health & wellness practitioners.


​CLASS OFFERINGS
INTRODUCTION TO MFR - Ideal for the newly licensed massage practitioner or health care professional, as well as the seasoned practitioner. Myofascial Release is amazingly effective and will complement and expand any practice.

​This class provides
  • An overview of the bio/physiological phenomenon that is the fascia. Practitioners will learn foundational Myofascial Release techniques, client assessment, and more.
  • Class includes both lecture and lab portions. Handout material will be made available.
  • Includes a film by renowned French surgeon, Dr. JC Guimberteau, which shows incredible views of living fascia.​




THORACIC/CERVICAL SPINE - Building on the foundations Intro to MFR

​This class provides
  • Learn assessment techniques both postural and through palpitation.
  • Emphasis on communication with the client. The level of success greatly depends on a good relationship with clients.
  • Neck and shoulder complaints will be a focus as well as the jaw addressing TMJ and chronic holding patterns.
  • Special emphasis will be placed on assessment.

LUMBAR SPINE & PELVIS - Balancing the pelvis is an essential principle in myofascial release therapy

This class provides
  • Pelvic assessment will be explored as torsion and misalignment are common and widely varied in presentation and symptoms. 
  • Pelvic interfacing muscle groups will be discussed in lecture and demonstration.
  • Techniques for treating low back muscle and bone groups, as well as the sacrum, coccyx, hip flexors and psoas, are included.
  • Special emphasis will be placed on assessment.

SKILL ENHANCEMENT / MENTORING PROGRAM 
This program invites you into the Goldeen MFR Scottsdale location treatment room to work in hand with David Goldeen and his clients.

This class provides
  • Uniquely designed to meet the specific needs of the attending students. 
  • Expanding skills and business practices.
  • Intake interview skills
  • Client evaluation, new and returning
  • Taking payment and rebooking appointments.
  • Students will also receive 2 Myofascial Release treatments.

Advance Myofascial Release Unwinding - Advance Unwinding is a by invitation only class.*

This class provides
  • Expanding the practitioner’s skills to a deeper level.
  • Exploration of trauma unwinding. The foundational teaching of this class arises from the work of Dr. Peter Levine and Dr. Bessel Vanderkolk whose work in the field of trauma/post traumatic stress is ground breaking. 
  • Understanding the releasing years of chronic holding and the physical and emotional shifts it creates is crucial for the sensitive therapist.
  • The goal of this class is to empower and equip the practitioner to open the door to healing for their clients.​

*In order to attend this class you must have taken Myofascial Release for Professionals Classes, attended foundational Myofascial Release classes from John Barnes or other reputable MFR instructors.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • You may cancel up to 14 days before the class date.
  • Registration fee will be refunded less a $50 processing  fee.
  • If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the class you may transfer your registration to another class in the future. If you fail to register for future classes you will forfeit the full registration fee.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any class based upon minimum enrollment requirements. The tuition fee will be returned in full.                Goldeen MFR Teaching Series/David Goldeen are not responsible for any prepaid airline/hotel reservations.
  • No refunds for missed hours or days.
  • Fee includes the course syllabus and handouts which are distributed electronically approximately 1 week prior to the class date.
  • Continuing Educational Credit Certificates will be emailed after completion of  the class.
